Tottenham Hotspur confirm that Moussa Dembele's return from a hip injury is delayed and the midfielder will miss out on this Saturday's North London derby against Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed that playmaker Moussa Dembele will be unavailable for this Saturday's North London derby against Arsenal.

The former Fulham star has been out of action for the club's last eight games and will continue to wait on the sidelines with a hip injury.

The Belgium international had initially earmarked a return to the pitch against the Gunners this weekend, while Kyle Walker and Jermain Defoe are at risk of also missing out.

Spurs head into the match seventh in the league table, while Arsenal reside one point below in eighth.
