Roberto Soldado could miss Tottenham Hotspur's Sunderland match with neck problem

Mauricio Pochettino reveals that Roberto Soldado is a doubt for Tottenham Hotspur's match against Sunderland on Saturday due to a neck injury.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Roberto Soldado is a doubt for Saturday's match against Sunderland.

The Spaniard was absent from Spurs' 3-0 defeat to Liverpool prior to the international break with stiffness in his neck and back.

Today, Pochettino said: "Robbie is still a doubt, he continues to have the problem with his neck. Tomorrow we will consider if he is available or not."

The North London outfit secured victories in their first two Premier League games of the season, but came unstuck against Liverpool at White Hart Lane.
