Spain captain and goalkeeper Iker Casillas has expressed his desire to continue reaching major finals with the national side ahead of the defence of their European Championships crown.
Spain reached their third consecutive major international final with a win over Portugal via penalties, and Casillas is keen to create a legacy that would leave them amongst the greatest teams of all time.
"We're fighting to go on reaching finals as we have done now," said Casillas.
"This team have come together through a lot of hard work and faced criticism. What we want is to give people something to enjoy.
"I don't care who we play in the final. The important thing is that Spain are there."
Spain will meet Italy in the final of Euro 2012 on Sunday and, should they win, will be the first nation to have won three major international tournaments back to back.
