Sadio Mane content with life at Southampton following Manchester United rumours

Sadio Mane insists that he is "happy" at Southampton following transfer speculation linking him to Manchester United.

Southampton winger Sadio Mane has suggested that the rumours of a move to Manchester United are behind him.

The 23-year-old was linked with a switch to Old Trafford towards the end of the summer transfer window, but a move never materialised.

When asked about the speculation, Mane claimed that it is part and parcel of the game.

"In football we always have, like this, many of you move but I have a contract with Southampton," the Daily Echo quotes Mane as saying. "I'm happy here, the fans like me, which means I'm doing my job properly."

The Saints are currently 10th in the Premier League table.
