Sevilla goalkeeper Beto has expressed his pride following his side's penalty shootout victory over Benfica in the Europa League final.
The Portuguese put in an impressive performance to ensure that the match finished 0-0 after extra time, and saved two penalties during the shootout to help secure the trophy.
"It's the perfect final," he told Cuatro. "It ended the best way. I'm so proud being part of this team and I'm so happy to win this trophy."
Sevilla forward Kevin Gameiro, who put away the decisive penalty, admitted after the game that he did not stop to think before striking the ball.
"I didn't think when I was shooting the penalty," he said. "I just kicked it hard. It's a very important day for us."
The Spaniards saw off their Portuguese opponents 4-2 on penalties after Benfica's Oscar Cardoza and Rodrigo missed from 12 yards.
