Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi has expressed his delight after seeing his team win the Derby della Capitale against Lazio.
Edin Dzeko and Gervinho both found the back of the net as the Giallorossi claimed a 2-0 victory over their fierce rivals at the Stadio Olimpico.
"We won this game for all the fans, including those who stayed away, who decided not to come, who saw us from home and those who supported us at the hotel," Florenzi told Mediaset Premium.
"This victory is for all Romans. Roma and Lazio have great supporters and it's a great shame to see the stadium like this. I hope the authorities can sort this out as soon as possible.
"The tournament is still long and if we'd lost today it wouldn't have changed anything in the title race. Now we just want to enjoy this moment."
Roma are currently second in the Serie A table, one point behind leaders Inter Milan.
