Jean-Luc Vasseur prepared for Lille reaction

Reims head coach Jean-Luc Vasseur admits that he is expecting Lille to respond to their poor form when the two sides meet on Sunday.

Jean-Luc Vasseur has insisted that his Reims side will not be taking Lille lightly on Sunday afternoon, despite their recent poor form.

Lille continued their bad run with a 3-0 defeat to Everton in the Europa League on Thursday, but Vasseur is certain that Rene Girard's side will produce a response to their latest disappointment.

"They have fewer points than you may expect - and they have lost a little juice with their involvement in European competition," Vassuer told the club's official website. "However, Lille are still a formidable team with high quality players. They will react.

"I watched the Everton game and knowing their coach and the mentality of the team, I think we will have a difficult game."

Lille have won just once in their last seven Ligue 1 games.
