Real Madrid have cemented their status as Group D winners with a 6-2 victory over Dinamo Zagreb at the Bernabeu this evening.
Karim Benzema opened scoring in the second minute following a cross from Mesut Ozil. The scorer then set up a second goal for the home side five minutes later as Jose Callejon fired in low.
Higuain chipped in after nine minutes before former provider Ozil scored in the 20th minute after Dinamo keeper Ivan Kelava deflected a shot from Gonzalo Higuain.
Callejon notched up a second goal four minutes into the second half, a feat emulated by Benzema 20 minutes later to ensure the win for the Spanish side, who have won all of their fixtures in the competition.
Fatos Beqiraj succeeded in scoring for Dinamo Zagreb, their first goal in the competition, eight minutes from the end of normal time before Ivan Tomecak followed up with another in the 90th minute.
Jose Mourinho's side now have 15 points at the top of the group table while their opponents remain pointless at the bottom.
