Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has reportedly picked up a calf injury which will see him sidelined for several weeks.
The 32-year-old earned his 100th cap for Wales on Saturday as he played in the first half at the Cardiff City Stadium against Belarus, but he was substituted off at half time due to an injury.
Resultantly, Bale missed Wales' final World Cup qualifier in Group E against Belgium on Tuesday, when his nation secured a seeded spot in next year's playoffs.
Bale has already missed the last 13 games for Los Blancos due to injury, and the Daily Mail now report that Carlo Ancelotti may have to wait until the middle of December to have the attacker available for selection once again.
The Welshman is reportedly the highest paid player at the Bernabeu, and is believed to have earned £6.6m since he last featured for Real Madrid 11 weeks ago.
This injury news comes in the same week that reports have suggested that Ancelotti wishes for Bale to leave Real Madrid as soon as possible.
