El Clasico set for November 21

El Clasico next month has been confirmed for November 21, with Real Madrid welcoming Barcelona to the Bernabeu in Spain's top flight.

Real Madrid will welcome Barcelona to the Spanish capital in the first El Clasico of the 2015-16 season on November 21.

The showpiece fixture had been penciled in for the penultimate weekend of November, but the date and time – 5.15pm GMT – has now been confirmed by the LFP.

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona have collected 18 points from their eight league games this season, but while Los Blancos have drawn three times in an unbeaten start, Barcelona have already lost twice in Spain's top flight.

Both teams were victorious in their home meetings with their rivals in the league last season, with Real Madrid winning 3-1 in October 2014 and Barcelona gaining revenge with a 2-1 success in March.
