Report: Gareth Bale fit for Juventus clash

A report claims that Welsh attacker Gareth Bale will start Real Madrid's Champions League semi-final first leg away to Juventus on Tuesday.

Gareth Bale has reportedly been declared fit and available to start Real Madrid's Champions League semi-final first leg against Juventus on Tuesday.

The Welshman was ruled out for 'two to three weeks' with a calf injury that he picked up in Real Madrid's 3-1 win over Malaga on April 18.

However, the attacker made his return to action off the bench in his side's 3-2 win at Sevilla in La Liga at the weekend.

According to Marca, Bale suffered no adverse effects in Seville and has therefore been declared fit to start in Italy on Tuesday.

Bale is expected to start in a front two alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, with Javier Hernandez dropping to the bench.
