Karim Benzema will be cheering on Paris Saint-Germain against Barcelona.

Real Madrid's French striker Karim Benzema has admitted that he will be supporting Paris Saint-Germain when they take on Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.

Benzema has said that he believes PSG are good enough to go to Camp Nou and pull off an upset against Real's big rivals.

"I watched the game in Paris," UEFA.com quotes Benzema as saying. "PSG were a real threat in the first half.

"The second leg will be tough but I believe they can do something special. I will support PSG because they are a French side. I hope they go through."

Benzema played for Lyon before moving to Real in 2009.
