Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez has played down the reaction of the Bernabeu crowd during Tuesday's 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Despite booking their spot in the next round with all three points, sections of the home support were not pleased with the overall performance of their team in Madrid.
When asked about the whistles, Benitez insisted that qualification, which was secured, was the most important thing and therefore he was "happy" with the game.
"We're qualified, we are happy. The team is still improving and we are still getting players back from injury," Benitez told reporters. "We've qualified and we'll be stronger when we have the others back.
"PSG are a great team and I'm happy because we've qualified. We've won and we've suffered, but we're top of the group without conceding a goal. It's a positive against a difficult opponent. The performance here gives more value to the result in Paris."
Real Madrid return to La Liga action away to Sevilla at the weekend.
