Rangers keen to sign QPR midfielder Sean Goss on permanent deal

Rangers boss Graeme Murty says that the Scottish giants want to sign midfielder Sean Goss from Queens Park Rangers on a permanent deal.

Rangers boss Graeme Murty has revealed that the Scottish giants want to sign midfielder Sean Goss on a permanent basis.

During the January transfer window, Rangers secured the services of the Queens Park Rangers player on a loan deal until the end of the season, and the former Manchester United trainee has already netted twice in eight appearances for the Scottish Premiership outfit.

Murty has acknowledged that QPR do not want to sell the 22-year-old, but the Rangers manager has insisted that an approach will be made at a later date.

At a press conference, the 43-year-old told reporters: "QPR have said: 'You're not having him, keep your hands off'. But football situations like that tend to be quite fluid.

"Sean Goss is one of a number of players we are looking to bring in on a permanent deal. Goss has made a really good start, and has shown he understands how we want to play and the demands of playing for Rangers at Ibrox. He looks quite comfortable doing that."

Before moving to Ibrox, Goss had only made six outings for QPR in the space of a year.
