Ally McCoist admits that it is hard to find footballers willing to play in the Scottish Third Division.

Ally McCoist has said that he finds it hard to attract players to Rangers.

The Ibrox side are the subject of a transfer embargo, but the manager has been looking for players to bring in for next season.

McCoist told the Daily Mail: "It's a struggle, that's why we have to take it a season at a time as we try to get back to the SPL.

"The reason we lost 30 players in the summer was because they didn't want to play in SFL3. It's not suddenly become attractive to players of that ability.

"We are close with a couple but I'm scared of that door getting slammed again. We can't register anyone until September but I want the deals done tomorrow, yesterday even."

Rangers have a 19-point lead at the top of the Scottish Third Division.
