PSV Eindhoven kicked off their Europa League campaign with a 1-1 stalemate against Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt on Thursday evening.
Ruud van Nistelrooy's men were breached on the stroke of half time by Albert Gronbaek after which Cody Gakpo restored parity just past the hour mark.
Prior to that, the Rood-witten saw their 100% record in the Eredivisie come to an end courtesy of a 2-1 defeat against FC Twente at De Grolsch Veste.
Up next is the task of facing off against an opposing outfit who are on a run of five straight defeats in this fixture dating back to 2019.
Having already netted 12 times in three league games on home turf so far, Sunday's hosts will be looking to put on another attacking masterclass in front of their fans.
RKC Waalwijk got their season up and running at the fifth time of asking thanks to a comprehensive 5-2 victory over Excelsior at the Mandemakers Stadion on Sunday.
Shawn Adewoye and Pelle Clement were on target to cancel strikes from Julian Baas and Redouan el Yaakoubi before Thierry Lutonda, Vurnon Anita and Michiel Kramer all got on the scoresheet to complete a remarkable turnaround.
Consequently, Joseph Oosting's men have moved up to eighth place in the Eredivisie table and are just a point behind the last European place.
With just one victory from their last nine matches on the road across all competitions, Sunday's visitors have it all to do as they seek to end their woeful run away from home.

Twenty-one-year-old Julen Lobete came off the bench to good effect for Waalwijk last time out and could be rewarded with a place in the lineup here.
PSV Eindhoven possible starting lineup:
Benitez; Mwene, Teze, Obispo, Max; Veerman, Til, Sangare; Saibari, Gakpo, Simons
RKC Waalwijk possible starting lineup:
Vaessen; Lelieveld, Gaari, Adewoye, Van den Buijs, Lutonda; Bel Hassani, Anita, Clement; Kramer, Lobete
We say: PSV Eindhoven 3-1 RKC Waalwijk
Having suffered disappointing results home and abroad, PSV will head into this weekend's game with real intent. We fancy them to see off the threat of Waalwijk and come away with all three points.
