PSG sporting director Leonardo: 'Neymar situation still not fixed'

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo suggests that the long-term future of Neymar is yet to be resolved.

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has claimed that 'everything isn't fixed' regarding the future of Neymar.

Having failed to secure a reunion with Barcelona earlier this summer, Neymar is back in the first-team squad at Parc des Princes.

The Brazil international marked his return with a spectacular winning goal against Strasbourg, although the forward was widely jeered by the club's supporters.

While Leonardo has praised Neymar for reintegrating with the rest of the team, he insists that there are still issues to be resolved behind the scenes.

Leonardo told RMC: "Since everything happened, he has had a very good game with Brazil. He returned to training, he behaved well and he had a very good match against Strasbourg.

"Then the story is amazing with a spectacular goal - it looked like Hollywood. At the end of the game, he made good statement and was honest."Now he is at PSG and is thinking about PSG.

"We can't say that everything is fixed after the things that have happened, but he played a very good game and was a great professional. He is not a bad boy, having him with us makes us stronger."

Neymar still has just under three years left on his contract.
