Carlo Ancelotti dismisses Mamadou Sakho rumours

Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti insists that Mamadou Sakho is not leaving the club.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed rumours linking Mamadou Sakho with a move away from the club.

The 22-year-old's future at the Parc des Princes has been called into question in recent weeks after his failure to regain a place in the side following a ban.

"Sakho is not in a position to ask to leave," said Ancelotti. "He will stay here because he is an important player."

The Frenchman signed his first professional contract with PSG in 2007.
