Paris Saint-Germain move past Caen

Paris Saint-Germain stay second in Ligue 1 despite a 2-0 win over Caen.

Paris Saint-Germain recorded a 2-0 win away to Caen in Ligue 1 this evening to stay second in Ligue 1.

Brazil winger Lucas Moura gave PSG the lead on 18 minutes when he danced away from two challenges before sending a left-footed effort into the net.

Jean-Christophe Bahebeck, who replaced the injured Ezequiel Lavezzi, spurned a good chance to double the lead towards the end of the half when he fired over the bar when well placed inside the box.

The home side had goalkeeper Remy Vercoutre to thank for keeping the score at 1-0 towards the end of the half.

Lucas turned his man inside the box before being denied by the outstretched leg of the shot-stopper.

Defender Marquinhos made it 2-0 11 minutes after the restart when he made the most of some sloppy marking from a corner to nod home.
