Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has confirmed that the club intend to offer head coach Laurent Blanc a new contract.
The 50-year-old's job at the Parc des Princes has been linked with a number of managers over recent months, including Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger.
However, Al-Khelaifi has insisted that the PSG board are "very happy" with the work that the former France international has carried out.
"He is very happy in Paris [and] we are very happy with him," Le Figaro quotes Al-Khelaifi as saying.
"He wants to stay, we want him to stay, I think that there will be no problem to extend his contract and I am confident that we will find an agreement. We are in discussion."
Blanc's men are currently 19 points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 standings.
