Project Restart
The Premier League has come up with 'Project Restart' as a way for top-flight action to return in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The competition will begin again on June 17, 100 days after the last Premier League match, but all games will take place behind closed doors for the foreseeable future.
Clubs are unanimous in their desire to complete the campaign, although that depends on government guidelines and whether the number of coronavirus cases begins to rise again.
The prospect of curtailment has not yet been completely ruled out either, should the original schedule be unable to be fulfilled.
