The home side earned themselves a half-time lead when Lucho Gonzalez was on hand to fire in on 20 minutes.

It took until the 67th minute for Porto to extend their advantage, but it was worth the wait as Joao Moutinho curled his free kick into the top corner.

The win was sealed in the final five minutes when Silvestre Varela converted following Moutinho's backheeled assist.
