Aston Villa are reportedly interested in Plymouth Argyle goalkeeper Michael Cooper.
The Exeter-born stopper has been linked with several Premier League clubs, despite making just one appearance for the senior Pilgrims side.
The 18-year-old has played in the FA Youth Cup for the academy side, having been at the club since the age of nine.
According to Football Insider, Villa will rival Brighton & Hove Albion for the youngster this summer.
The report adds that the two clubs view Cooper as a future star and are willing to make a serious offer in the transfer window.
