PEC Zwolle continue winning start in Eredivisie

PEC Zwolle make it three wins out of three in the Eredivisie this season with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory at home to Vitesse.

PEC Zwolle have continued their winning start to the Eredivisie season with a 2-1 victory at home to Vitesse.

The visitors took the lead with 24 minutes gone when Davy Propper's deflected effort found its way past goalkeeper Diederik Boer.

Vitesse almost grabbed a second moments later, but Kelvin Leerdam put his effort wide after being sent clear through on goal.

Leerdam had a cheeky backheel cleared off the line at the start of the second half before Zwolle equalised through Maikel van der Werff's free kick on 65 minutes.

The home side then completed the turnaround with just two minutes remaining, as Stef Nijland took advantage of some poor defending from Vitesse to smash the ball into the net from close range.
