Norwich City youngster Carlton Morris has joined Oxford United on a six-month loan deal.
The striker, 18, signed his first professional contract with the Canaries back in December after impressing in their youth team.
"Carlton had a number of clubs looking at him and I think it speaks volumes for Oxford United that he has chosen to come here when other clubs were chasing his services," Oxford boss Michael Appleton told the club's official website.
"He is big and strong, technically very good, and he is a decent finisher so we are excited to have him here.
"We have always said that we will wait until the right player is available, someone we believe will strengthen what we already have, and Carlton fits the bill perfectly."
Oxford play their opening game of the new League Two season on Saturday when they welcome Burton Albion to the Kassam Stadium.
