Norwich City winger Anthony Pilkington has insisted that the Canaries are looking beyond safety after stretching their winning run with a 2-1 victory over Sunderland this afternoon.
Pilkington scored Norwich's second after Sebastien Bassong had put Chris Hughton's side ahead after just eight minutes.
The 24-year-old thinks that Norwich can start aiming for a place in the top half if they can build on a fine run of home form.
He told Sky Sports News: "I'm enjoying my football, you can't not playing in the Premier League.
"We are good enough to be looking at the top half, obviously not right at top or Europe but a mid-table finish. We want to finish in the top half."
The victory against Sunderland made it four successive home wins for Norwich, equalling their Premier League record set in 1992 and 2005.
