Half-Time Report: Fulham ahead against Norwich City in third-round replay

Fulham are beating Norwich City 2-0 at half time in the FA Cup after goals from Darren Bent and Ashkan Dejagah.

Fulham are leading Norwich City 2-0 at half time in their FA Cup third-round replay match.

The visitors almost took an early lead, but Robert Snodgrass's bending shot came back off the crossbar. Moments before that, Nathan Redmond had a close-range effort saved by Maarten Stekelenburg.

After that fast Norwich start, Fulham had their first chance as Steve Sidwell fired straight at Mark Bunn.

However, the hosts went ahead with 16 minutes played. Pajtim Kasami got down the right and delivered a low ball to the front post. It missed Ashkan Dejagah, but Darren Bent was there to fire home.

Immediately after the goal, the Cottagers began to dominate possession and frustrate their opponents. Their defence looked solid, with Norwich unable to find a cutting edge.

With four minutes remaining in the first half, Fulham doubled their advantage. Alexander Kacaniklic was played in down the right, and he pulled the ball back for Dejagah to finish from close range.
