Newcastle United's Yohan Cabaye denies contact with Paris Saint-Germain

Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye denies having contact with Paris Saint-Germain following rumours of a possible transfer.

Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye has denied that he has been in contact with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain over a possible transfer.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from St James' Park in January after his head was turned by Arsenal in the summer.

"Contact with PSG? Not to my knowledge," Cabaye told BeIN Sport.

"I know that in January the rumours will start all over again. I'd like to know who does not want to play for Paris Saint-Germain today?"

Cabaye moved to the North-East outfit from Lille in 2011.
