Saint-Etienne forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted that he is interested in a move to Newcastle United.
The 24-year-old, who is understood to be available for around £15m this summer, has been linked with interest from the Magpies, as well as Anzhi Makhachkala, Monaco and Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks.
Aubameyang claims that a switch to the Premier League would be ideal. He also says that he is very impressed by the facilities and supporters at Newcastle.
"I will choose England before any other destination," Aubameyang told reporters. "My dream has always been to play in one of the top two leagues in the world.
"Newcastle is a good club and St James' Park is a monumental stadium where there is passionate fans."
Aubameyang has scored 37 goals in 87 Ligue 1 appearances for Les Verts.
