Swansea City have recorded their first Premier League away win since the opening day by beating Newcastle United at St James' Park.
Second-half strikes from Michu and Jonathan de Guzman put the Swans in firm control, before Demba Ba netted late on to set up a nervy finish.
Newcastle dominated the opening 45 minutes and could easily have led at the break were it not for the impressive form of Gerhard Tremmel, who made good saves to deny Hatem Ben Arfa and Sammy Ameobi.
However, Swansea were much improved after the interval and Michu's headed opener on 58 minutes was fully deserved.
The former Rayo Vallecano forward guided Pablo Hernandez's cross into the bottom left corner to notch his eighth goal of the season.
De Guzman doubled the visitors' lead three minutes from time with an emphatically-taken rebound from close range, after Danny Graham had been denied by goalkeeper Tim Krul.
Ba headed into the Swansea net in stoppage time, after Sylvain Marveaux's powerful effort had struck the crossbar, however it was too little too late.
Newcastle are now winless in their last three matches in all competitions.
