Newcastle United head coach John Carver has received the backing of goalkeeper Tim Krul, who urged the fans to give him time at the club.
Newcastle have won just once since Carver replaced Alan Pardew last month, but Krul insists that he has the full confidence of the players.
He told the Shields Gazette: "We very much believe in what John and Stoney do, and we showed that on the pitch. We're three games unbeaten, and we should have won last weekend [against Stoke]. We gave it away.
"We could have won [against Palace], and we could have had nine points and three clean sheets. We have to look at the positives. I think there are a few out there maybe giving John a hard time, but we could have had nine points.
"John's trying to do some different things, so it's takes a bit of time. But I truly believe we're on the right track."
Newcastle travel to Manchester City on Saturday.
