Emanuele Giaccherini has admitted that he is frustrated with a lack of first-team action for Napoli this season.
The 31-year-old joined the Serie A club from Sunderland in the summer transfer window off the back of an impressive Euro 2016 for Italy, who he helped reach the quarter-finals.
A muscular injury prevented the midfielder from featuring in the early part of the campaign, however, and he has been unable to secure a spot in the first XI since returning to fitness.
"I want to be able to get on the pitch as soon as possible, I want to give the team a hand. I need to play," Giaccherini told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
Giaccherini started his professional career with Cesena, before joining Juventus in 2011, where he made 40 league appearances over the course of two seasons.
