Nantes coach Michel Der Zakarian has lamented his side's lack of goals following their tame 2-0 defeat at the hands of table-topping Marseille on Friday night.
Marseille cruised to a comfortable victory at the Stade Velodrome, thanks to goals from Florian Thauvin and Rod Fanni, with Der Zakarian frustrated by his team's failure to impose themselves on the game.
"We defended well, recovered the ball easily enough, and we showed that we are capable of getting forward. That is two matches now in which we haven't scored," the Nantes coach told the official Ligue 1 website.
"We knew at the beginning of the season that it wouldn't be easy to score goals. We need to be more aggressive, a bit more like Marseille.
"They have another mentality. They impose their game on you - the way they challenge for the ball, their runs. If they carry on doing that together they can really bother Paris."
Nantes currently find themselves in fifth position in the Ligue 1 table after the loss of their eight-game unbeaten run.
