Jermaine Easter's first-half strike was enough for Millwall to earn a pre-season win over Mallorca on Friday.
The Spanish outfit only narrowly avoided relegation from the Segunda Division last term and the Lions dominated large portions of the friendly at The Den.
They could only find the net once, with Easter creating room to strike into the bottom corner on 30 minutes, with Scott McDonald and Ricardo Fuller having previously gone close in the opening half-hour.
Lee Martin curled a shot over the crossbar on 36 minutes, but a good first period for the Championship outfit was marred by an injury to midfielder Nicky Bailey, who was forced off and replaced by Jack Powell.
The number of half-time substitutions meant that Millwall struggled to find their rhythm again in the second 45 minutes, but Josh Wright and Lee Gregory went close to doubling their advantage.
Former Everton forward Magaye Gueye, who joined the Lions on a free transfer earlier this summer, had the chance to open his club account when Wright's flick-on set him free, but he opted to pass to Mark Beevers, who was flagged offside as he threatened to add an 82nd-minute second.
Ian Holloway's side begin their Championship season against Leeds United on August 9.
