Middlesbrough head coach Tony Pulis has revealed that Martin Braithwaite wants to leave the Riverside Stadium before the end of August.
Braithwaite has endured a mixed time with the North-East outfit, but the Denmark international has contributed three goals from five Championship appearances this season.
However, Pulis has said that the attacker has expressed a desire to leave in the next two days after receiving an offer to play in La Liga.
At a press conference, Pulis told reporters: "Martin came in to see me yesterday, there's a Spanish club that have come in for him.
"He would like to go to Spain and he's expressed his wish. We'll see how that develops over the next 24 hours. It's a bit of a disappointment but that's the way the world works."
Both Leganes and Girona have been linked with a move for Braithwaite.
