Manchester United's Robin van Persie undergoes Fenerbahce medical?

Robin van Persie reportedly takes a step closer to leaving Manchester United by undergoing a medical with Fenerbahce.

Robin van Persie has reportedly started a medical test ahead of his proposed move to Fenerbahce.

Speculation yesterday claimed that Manchester United had agreed to sell the 31-year-old to their Turkish counterparts for an undisclosed fee.

Now, according to Sky Sport Italia's respected reporter Gianluca di Marzio, the Dutch striker has met with Fenerbahce's medical team in England to go through a series of fitness checks.

It has been suggested that Van Persie has already agreed a four-year contract with the Istanbul-based club.
