Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is reportedly considering recalling James Wilson from his loan spell at Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Championship outfit on November 26, scored in his first two starts for the Seagulls, but failed to strike in last night's 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers.
According to The Express, due to United's lack of scoring threat, Van Gaal is pondering a return for Wilson. The player can be recalled 28 days after the date he joined Brighton, meaning that he could be back with the Red Devils for their Boxing Day match against Stoke City.
United's main forwards Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial have scored just five goals between them this season, and the team have managed 10 goals in their last 12 games.
