Youri Tielemans has said that he 'expects to return to Monaco' once his Leicester City loan finishes, amid rumours that he is a target for Manchester United.
The Belgium international has caught the eye of a number of the Premier League big boys during his four-month spell at the King Power Stadium.
Tielemans scored three times and notched four assists in 13 top-flight appearances, leading to suggestions that United will battle Leicester for his permanent signature.
However, the 22-year-old does not believe that any talks have been held with Monaco, telling VTM Nieuws: "I expect that I will return to Monaco in the summer, unless something's moving.
"At the moment there's nothing. If things are going well you want to keep it like that. I don't know what Monaco will be asking, so I can't talk about it."
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers admitted earlier this month that his side 'will do everything possible' to keep Tielemans at the club.
