Valencia left-back Jordi Alba insists that he is in no rush to sign a new deal, with Barcelona and Manchester United reportedly interested.

Valencia left-back Jordi Alba has reportedly suggested that he is in no rush to sign a new deal at the club.

The Spanish international is interesting Barcelona and Manchester United and both clubs are keeping a close eye on his contract negotiations.

However, the 22-year-old has insisted that nothing has changed so far.

"It's still the same, there was a first contact and now my agents are working on it," said Alba.

"I'm not too focused because I am confident in the work of my representatives.

"Everything will work out, things will go on, but people must understand that I devote myself to playing and trying to do my best and do not worry about anything else."

Alba made his international debut for Spain in the 3-1 defeat of Scotland in October.
