Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier is reportedly determined to return to the Premier League this summer amid suggestions that Manchester United are interested in his services.
The 30-year-old has impressed for Atletico since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2019, making 68 appearances in all competitions, providing 11 assists in the process.
The England international's existing deal in Madrid is due to expire in June 2023, though, and Man United are believed to be keen to bring him to Old Trafford ahead of next season.
According to The Telegraph, Trippier has his heart set on a return to the Premier League and is waiting to see whether the 20-time English champions step up their interest.
Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be keen to sign competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, having seen Luke Shaw reach a new level last season under pressure from Alex Telles.
Trippier, who came through the Manchester City youth system, provided one assist in five appearances for his country at this summer's European Championship.
