Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's agent has claimed that the player will remain at Lazio amid talks of a departure.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the current transfer window, while the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid have been credited with showing interest.
There was a belief that the midfielder could be sold for just over £40m, but Lazio president Claudio Lotito insisted that Milikovic-Savic would cost "much more" than €50m (£42.3m).
Despite rumours of a potential exit, the player's agent Mateja Kezman has seemingly put an end to the transfer speculation, stating that the Serbia international will remain at Lazio.
As quoted by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Kezman said: "The decision has been made: he will stay at Lazio this summer."
Although United were believed to be interested in the Lazio player, there was reportedly no advanced discussions to leave the Serie A club.
Milinkovic-Savic has two years remaining on his current contract and has provided two assists this term after starting all three of Lazio's league games.
