Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez does not want to leave the Wanda Metropolitano under any circumstances, according to a report.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez is reportedly not interested in leaving the Wanda Metropolitano under any circumstances.

The 23-year-old has made over 200 appearances for Atletico in all competitions, and further enhanced his growing reputation with goals against England and Croatia for Spain during the recent international break.

Saul is a key player under Atletico boss Diego Simeone, and the midfielder has a contract at the Wanda Metropolitano until the summer of 2026, which includes a release clause of £134m.

Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move for the Spaniard, while Barcelona are also said to be long-term admirers.

However, according to El Confidencial, Saul has no desire to leave Atletico, and will reject any interest that arrives.

Saul spent time in the Real Madrid youth system before joining Atletico in 2008.
