Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho is reportedly keen to remain in the Premier League amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

Jadon Sancho is reportedly keen to remain in the Premier League, with Tottenham Hotspur showing an interest in the unsettled Manchester United forward.

The England international has not played for the Red Devils since the end of August due to a breakdown in his relationship with head coach Erik ten Hag.

At the start of September, Sancho was not involved against Arsenal in the Premier League, with Ten Hag claiming that poor performances on the training ground had led to the forward being left out of the squad.

The ex-Manchester City attacker later took to social media to insist that was not the case, claiming that he had been made "a scapegoat", and he has not been involved since.

Sancho has been removed from the first-team picture entirely, and it appears likely that he has played his last game for Man United, with neither the player nor the head coach prepared to back down.

The attacker is widely expected to leave Old Trafford in January, with Borussia Dortmund said to be keen to re-sign him on loan, while Juventus and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest.

However, according to Calciomercato, Sancho's first choice is to remain in the Premier League, with a move back to London said to be in his mind.

Born in Camberwell, South London, Sancho represented Watford between 2007 and 2015 before making the move to Man City, spending the final two years of his academy career with the Citizens.

Tottenham have emerged as potential suitors for the Englishman, although it remains to be seen whether Man United are prepared to let him move to a domestic rival.

Sancho is likely to leave on loan in January rather than depart on a permanent basis due to the complexities surrounding a mid-season deal between two major clubs.

The forward arrived at Man United in the summer of 2021 off the back of scoring 50 goals and registering 64 assists in 137 appearances for Dortmund in all competitions.

However, the 23-year-old has largely struggled to make his mark at Old Trafford, only managing 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances.

Sancho was a substitute for his side's first three matches of this season despite being tipped to start the campaign as a false nine following some strong pre-season performances.

The forward will again be missing for Man United's trip to Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
