Cristiano Ronaldo wants to see out Real Madrid contract

Cristiano Ronaldo suggests that his future remains at Real Madrid after claiming that he wants to see out the remaining four years on his contract.

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he intends to see out the remaining four years of his contract at Real Madrid.

The current Ballon d'Or holder, who has already scored 22 goals in all competitions this season, has been linked with a return to Manchester United.

However, while receiving the European Golden Shoe on Wednesday for netting 31 La Liga goals last season, the Portugal captain suggested that he has no plans to leave the Bernabeu.

"I hope to finish my contract with Real Madrid at 33 and after that we'll see if they want me to stay," BBC Sport quotes Ronaldo as saying. "I feel young and still a long way off retiring."

The 29-year-old also told the club's official website that he will hold talks with club president Florentino Perez about renewing his current deal.

Since joining Madrid in 2009, Ronaldo has scored 194 league goals in 174 appearances, as well as 55 goals in as many Champions League matches.
