Report: Manchester United open Alexis Sanchez talks

A report claims that Manchester United have opened talks with Barcelona over a £20m move for Alexis Sanchez.

Manchester United have reportedly opened talks with Barcelona over a £20m move for Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean, who is currently with his international team ahead of the World Cup this summer, has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus in recent months.

However, such talk has gone cold over the last week, with Barcelona reportedly unprepared to sell to a Champions League rival this summer.

According to La Stampa, former Premier League champions United have stolen a march on Juve and are confident of securing the services of the 25-year-old.

Sanchez scored 21 times and registered 15 assists for Barcelona last season, but it is understood that the attacker is unsettled at the Camp Nou.
