Paul Pogba's future was reportedly discussed when the Manchester United midfielder's agent Mino Raiola met with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez on Thursday.
Raiola is believed to have held Erling Braut Haaland transfer discussions with Barcelona before travelling to the Spanish capital to meet with Los Blancos.
Haaland could be on his way out of Borussia Dortmund during this summer's transfer window, and a number of leading European clubs are thought to be keen to sign him.
Pogba also continues to be linked with a move away from Man United, with the Frenchman's contract at Old Trafford due to expire next summer.
According to Calciomercato, the World Cup winner's name was mentioned in the talks between Raiola and Madrid, with the Spanish champions still thought to retain an interest in the midfielder.
The 28-year-old has scored five times and registered three assists in 30 appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side during the 2020-21 campaign.
