Piers Morgan takes to social media to deny reports that former Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo is closing in on a move to Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr

Piers Morgan has denied claims that Cristiano Ronaldo is set to complete a move to Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr.

Manchester United mutually terminated Ronaldo's contract in the wake of an explosive interview that he gave to Morgan on Talk TV.

With the 37-year-old looking for a new club, a recent report claimed that he was close to agreeing a deal worth £173m to join Al-Nassr.

However, those reports have been denied by Morgan, who took to social media to simply post "No he hasn't" in reply to an article suggesting that Ronaldo was on the verge of a move to Saudi Arabia.

It is unknown whether the television presenter has had contact with Ronaldo about the speculation surrounding his future.

The Portugal international has also been linked with Sporting Lisbon and Chelsea, although he is currently focused on the 2022 World Cup.
