Manchester United 'to target Youri Tielemans'

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans in this summer's transfer window having been impressed with his performances for Leicester City.

Tielemans joined Leicester on loan during the January transfer window and has been in fine form for the Foxes, scoring once and providing four assists in seven Premier League appearances.

Brendan Rodgers's side are believed to be prepared to pay £40m to land the Belgium international on a permanent deal this summer, but according to HLN, United are also monitoring the midfielder.

Tielemans joined Monaco from Anderlecht in the summer of 2017 and has scored six times in 65 appearances for the principality club in all competitions.

United, who lost 2-1 at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday night, are expected to spend big in this summer's transfer window as they look to become title challengers once again.
