Manchester United 'hold talks with Aurelien Tchouameni'

Manchester United have reportedly held discussions with Aurelien Tchouameni to discuss a possible move for the Monaco midfielder during this summer's transfer window.

The 22-year-old is believed to be wanted by both Chelsea and Real Madrid this summer, having starred for his Ligue 1 club this term, in addition to becoming an important player for France.

Monaco have allegedly made it clear that it could cost as much as £83.2m to sign the midfielder, who still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his current deal.

A recent report claimed that Man United had cooled their interest in the Frenchman, but according to RMC Sport, the Red Devils are still in the picture for his signature.

Ralf Rangnick's side have allegedly held talks with Tchouameni's agents to discuss a possible move to Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.

Man United, who are chasing a top-four finish in the Premier League this term, are expected to sign at least one new central midfielder ahead of next season, with Paul Pogba likely to leave the club on a free transfer.
