Report: Manchester United to pay half of Marouane Fellaini's Napoli salary

Manchester United will have to keep paying half of Marouane Fellaini's £100,000-a-week wages if they want the Belgian to go out on loan to Napoli, reports claim.

Manchester United will have to keep paying half of Marouane Fellaini's £100,000-a-week wages if they want the Belgian to go out on loan to Napoli, it has been reported.

The Serie A club has expressed an interest in the former Everton player, originally signed by David Moyes, but the midfielder's salary is too expensive for the Partenopei, according to The Mirror.

As a result, the Red Devils, now under Louis van Gaal's management, will have to continue to pay him £50,000 a week, with Napoli making up the rest of his pay packet.

Fellaini failed to score in 21 appearances last season for the Manchester outfit.
